  • The trip starts in the Cariboo Mountains on the west end of Mahood Lake in canoes loaded up with enough supplies and gear for the next three days. Beautiful beaches, old growth forest, and excellent photo opportunities present themselves on this first day of paddling.
  • Once we reach the far end of the Lake at the end of the second day it is time to swim in waterfalls. You’ll travel along the remote Mahood river where you’ll encounter stunning vistas of Sylvia and Goodwyn falls.
  • Keep your eyes open to view Native pictographs that exist along canyon walls in the Mahood valley, dating back as far as 3000 years.
